Matrix Development Corporation is owned and operated by John Yurtchuk (President) & Carolyn Yurtchuk (Vice President). Matrix Development has been providing professional real estate development services since 1990. John Yurtchuk has an extensive background in development and has completed over $250 million dollars of development projects including hotels, CLASS-A office space, medical facilities, luxury apartments, waterfront condominiums, corporate headquarters, and single family subdivisions.
Our passion for learning about our clients business and strategically matching them to a particular site, allows us to provide our clients with a low-risk opportunity to become part owners of their building. It is this kind of attention to detail that has driven Matrix Development Corporation to develop some of the highest quality commercial properties.

Prior to forming Matrix Development in 1990, John was active in development and construction in the New York City area as Vice President of Finance for Madison Construction, a full-service development and construction company founded by his father in 1980.
John Yurtchuk was instrumental in developing Calspan's new state-of-the-art flight research facility at the Niagara Falls International Airport and is currently the Senior Vice President of Calspan.
John Yurtchuk holds a B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. (ABD) in economics from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Prior to entering real estate development, John was a loan officer on Wall Street with the Irving Trust Company, a corporate economist with National Fuel and a university instructor at SUNY Buffalo, Medaille College and SUNY Fredonia, where he taught economics, finance, accounting, and business mathematics courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
John Yurtchuk is also the Chair of the American Red Cross- Greater Buffalo Branch, a board member of the Albright Knox Art Gallery, and a board member of the Friends for Felines.
